The Hidden 30% Tax on Your Meta Ads If you're boosting posts or running ads from the Facebook or Instagram iOS app, you're silently paying 30% extra to Apple. Since February 2024, Apple updated its App Store policies to apply its standard 30% service charge to all digital purchases made through iOS apps — including Meta ad boosts.
